Advanced Medical Microneedling

Microneedling is a rejuvenation technique that can treat scarring, wrinkles, large pores, skin tone, texture, stretch marks, and pigmentation issues. This procedure uses tiny needles to make microscopic punctures in the skin. This triggers a healing response from the body, which produces more collagen and elastin.

  • Microneedling is a rejuvenation technique that can treat scarring, wrinkles, large pores, Skin tone, texture, stretch marks, and pigmentation issues. Microneedling uses tiny needles to make microscopic punctures in the skin. This triggers a healing response from the body, which produces more collagen and elastin. This leads to numerous benefits of the treatment including smoothing out fine lines, skin tightening and toning, decreased pigmentation, reduced scars, reduced acne, and much more.

  • The microneedling treatment begins with the application of a topical anesthetic to the treatment area. This helps to minimize any discomfort from the treatment process. Then, the microneedling device will be used to create tiny punctures in the skin. Special serums are used to help customize the treatments. The length of treatment can vary depending on the size of the area being treated, but most for most patients the treatment takes approximately one hour.

  • After your microneedling treatment, you will experience mild tenderness and redness in the skin. These effects should fade within a few days as the skin begins to heal. Most patients will have only slight redness for 1-2 days. Results will improve as collagen increases and takes effect in the body, but many patients notice significant improvements about one to two months after treatment. Patients may continue to notice gradual improvements for as long as six months. We typically recommend a series of three or more microneedling sessions to achieve optimal results.
